Following success at the original Smithdown Road venue, which opened in July 2016, the East Asian bar and eatery has now opened on North John Street in Liverpool city centre.
Owned by husband and wife Vikki and Kean Teh, the restaurant offers Thai, Chinese, Malaysian, Singaporean, Vietnamese and Laotian dishes.
Managing Director of Tiger Rock Hawker Vikki Teh said: “We’re ecstatic to have introduced Tiger Rock Hawker to Liverpool City Centre, especially as it is situated in such a prime location. The new venue’s announcement has perfectly coincided with our Smithdown Road site’s first anniversary, and it’s thanks to the fantastic response it’s received over the past twelve months that we have been able to expand our brand and move in to our L1 restaurant – it really is two celebrations in one.
“Our new venue mirrors our original site in its aesthetics, with the addition of a larger bar area to allow for both drinkers and diners alike to enjoy our East Asian delights and speciality cocktails on offer. Our culinary menu will remain the same as that of our original site, but we will be encouraging our guests to keep an eye out for exclusive menu specials!”

Managing Director of Tiger Rock Hawker Kean Teh added: “We wanted to appeal to the city centre crowd and to do so, it was important to ensure that our venue was in line with our new postcode. With this in mind, we decided it was only right to include a spacious bar area where guests can enjoy an after-work drink or celebrate weekend merriments with family and friends, and perhaps even try out a delicious new dish along the way!”
