Liverpool restaurant Trattoria 51 is launching its special ‘Fish & Fizz’ combo this Good Friday (April 14).
The Old Hall Street restaurant and bar, which often showcases its ‘Seafood Specials’, is catering for those going meat-free this Good Friday with a wide range of fish dishes.
Each dish is complemented by a varied range of fizz served at the venue’s very own 51 Prosecco Bar.
General manager and co-owner of Trattoria 51, Toni Karemanaj, said: “Good Friday is a time of celebration and what better way to do so than with great food, great drink and of course great company.
“With seafood being at the forefront of our signature offerings here at Trattoria 51, it’s the perfect time for diners to explore new flavours or indulge in their all-time favourites.”
Seafood starters include calamari fritti, fresh mussels, and king prawns.
Mains include grilled sea bass fillet with vegetable risotto, together with pizzas such as Pescatora (prawns, mussels, tuna, anchovies, calamari, cherry tomatoes, parsley and lemon zest) and Lionnese (tuna, olives and red onions).
Daily specials include king scallops wrapped in speck ham served with leek puree, Caciucco Alla Livornese and whole dover sole Mauniere.
Toni added: “To complement our seafood selection, our recently re-established 51 Prosecco Bar ensures that we can pair each of our dishes to perfection. What’s more, the downstairs bar, which now dominates the entrance of our downstairs floor space, provides an upbeat social drinking experience to further our stance as being an authentic Italian drinking and dining destination. With that in mind, we hope to provide the perfect place for Good Friday celebrations amongst friends, family and work colleagues.
Good Friday Fish & Fizz is available at Trattoria 51 on Friday, April 14.
Trattoria 51, located on Old Hall Street, will be closed on Easter Sunday (April 16) and Easter Monday (April 17) while the Southport Promenade restaurant will remain open.
