Independent North West leisure business, New Moon Company, is set to open a second Beef & Pudding urban pub-restaurant in Liverpool.
The new venue is located on Brunswick Street in the city centre and will create 40 jobs, and seat 140 diners.
It will replicate New Moon’s first Beef & Pudding on Booth Street in Manchester; serving high quality fresh food with a North West themed menu, cocktails, real ales and wine.
Beef & Pudding 2 will be New Moon’s second Liverpool site after the Old Blind School, which is set to open in June.
Founded by Paul Newman and chef David Mooney, New Moon is on a growth drive amid a vibrant leisure market.
Newman said:
“Having operated in Liverpool before, I am thrilled to be back at the helm of what promises to be a popular venue for Liverpool’s great and good.
“We’ll be spending around £250,000 on it – the site is the former Noble House restaurant and we have acquired quite a lot of the fixtures and fittings, so it’ll be more of an aesthetic makeover.”
He added that he hopes the new venue will be open at the end of July.
