A new attraction which combines a ball pool with modern augmented reality gaming is the latest feature to be installed at Air Factory trampoline park in St Helens.
Following the popularity of augmented reality (AR) sensation Pokemon Go, the new addition to Air Factory is believed to be the only one of its kind in the UK.
The AR Zone attraction allows visitors to play a variety of video games while in the ball pool and their interactions with the balls themselves affect the outcome of the game.
The 21,000 sq ft arena at Lea Green remains open while the AR Zone is fitted, ahead of it being revealed on June 16. During the installation period, Air Factory is charging just £5 for an hour’s jumping.
Kane McQuade, general manager of Air Factory, said:
“This technology is the next big thing and we’re thrilled to be bringing such a unique attraction to St Helens.
“It’s a fantastic addition to our Olympic-size trampolines, massive foam pits, bouncy walls, dodgeball courts and battle beams and marks us out as offering something different to other trampoline parks in the region.”
