The Venue at The Royal Liver Building has more than doubled its business in 2016.
The Liverpool event space, based inside the Grade I listed Royal Liver Building, caters for weddings, conferences, launches and private events.
It has seen a 103 per cent rise in the number of events held this year.
Weddings remain the number one bestseller for The Venue and it has seen a 193% increase in brides choosing to book their big day there since 2015.
Corporate events have also seen a significant uplift with a 63 per cent increase. High profile clients include The Guardian, Liverpool City Council, BBC, Lloyds Banking, Liverpool and Everton Football Club and Matchroom Sport, as well as a major business delegation visiting the city from Qiandongnan, China.
It has hosted a wide range of events from Liverpool boxer Tony Bellew’s press conference ahead of his Goodison Park fight to helping shipping line ACL celebrate the first Royal christening of a ship on the Mersey in more than 50 years.
Karen Yates, regional sales manager at The Venue, said:
“As a new venue to the city we were a ‘hidden gem’ for some time, but we are becoming more and more popular as a go to venue and we’re delighted with the events we’ve been able to help host this year.
“We pride ourselves on being suitable for any occasion and our contemporary interior is often seen as the perfect blank canvas for companies and individuals to put their own stamp on an event.
“Our success is thanks to our wonderful team who work tirelessly to provide a special experience for every guest at the Venue and we’re all very much looking forward to another prosperous year in 2017.”
The Venue caters for all event types including hospitality, corporate and commercial occasions, from its Liverpool waterfront setting.
