Viva Brazil launches pop-up in the city

The award-winning Brazilian restaurant chain, Viva Brazil, is opening a pop-up in the city’s Metquarter.

Espiritio de Brazil by Viva Brazil will be open throughout the Christmas period and into the New Year.

The 110 cover eatery will open this Thursday, 22nd October at the former Café Rouge site and will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Founder and owner of the chain, Andy Aldrich, has decided to launch the pop up while work continues to refurbish the Castle Street restaurant which suffered a fire at the beginning of August.

The Castle Street site will reopen on November 26th with the pop-up continuing to operate – giving customers even more choice.

The pop up will also be available for private hire for up to 110 guests for Christmas parties.

Mr Aldrich, said:

“Getting the Castle Street restaurant back up and running as soon as possible was always our number one priority.

“We do not want customers to miss out so while work continues on our expansive refit, the pop-up will operate as our main hub. It will give customers choice as they will also be available to book the pop up for their private Christmas parties.”

“I would also like to thank all of our customers for being so patient throughout this time. We promise everyone that Viva Brazil Castle Street will be back bigger and better – and with a few extra surprises too!”

Jennina O’Neill, centre manager at Metquarter added:

“We’re delighted to host Viva Brazil’s pop up. We’ve had some fantastic brands join Metquarter in recent months, including REX and Made.com, this is sure to be a very popular addition to the centre over the festive period.”
