Brexit will have a major impact on all aspects of UK business – with merger and acquisition (M&A) activity also expected to be affected.
Membership organisation Professional Liverpool is looking to offer local professionals an insight into the issue at a networking breakfast next month.
On Wednesday, May 3, it will team up with the University of Liverpool’s Management School to host ‘The impact of Brexit on local M&A matters’.
It will take place the the MBA Suite, Brett Building, Oxford Street, Liverpool from 8.15am to 10am and is the latest in the ongoing University of Liverpool Breakfast Series.
Speakers will include Dr Gianluigi Giorgioni, finance lecturer at the university who will tell guests about what economic research suggests will be the impact of Brexit on M&A activity.
Dan Matkin, investment manager and James Hales, head of origination at North Edge Capital will talk about private equity fund raising in a post-Brexit era together with the impact of Brexit on overseas acquisition strategies.
