The hotel and wedding venue, located within the Wirral Peninsula, is set to play host to a night of entertainment, courtesy of tribute act Rod Stuart, complete with a two course meal on August 24.

Rod Stuart has previously performed live alongside the rocker himself on national television.

The show will showcase Rod’s many hits spanning across his five-decade career, from 60’s rock, pop classics to soul, motown and swing.

General Manager of Leasowe Castle Mike Dewey said: “Leasowe Castle is the perfect place to celebrate rock music royalty with a night of brilliant entertainment and flavoursome food from our specially devised menu.

“Rod Stuart has more than 15 years of experience impersonating the star in venues across the globe, and what’s more, he doesn’t just sound like the singer – he looks like him too! It’s definitely an unmissable night for all Rod Stewart fans.”

The two course meal includes carrot and coriander soup, prawns with a bloody Mary dressing or lemon roasted beetroot with beetroot puree and goats cheese en croute salad to start.

Main dishes consist of roast chicken breast with potato fondant, seabass with saffron mashed potato, or parmesan panna cotta with heritage carrots and asparagus.

Mike added: “Following the dinner, entertainment from the Rod Stewart tribute act is set to start from 9pm with music continuing through the night until 1am. For those wishing to make a night of it, we have packages available which include tickets to the themed night, plus bed and breakfast.”

Tickets are priced at £29.95pp and the overnight package comprising tickets, bed and breakfast is priced at £149 for two people.
