A new £3.5m food and drink venue is to open at Cains Brewery Village in Liverpool in spring 2024 and its operator is appealing for traders to sign up.

BOXPARK secured planning approval for its Baltic Triangle facility in January this year. Following on from its London venues in Shoreditch, Croydon and Wembley, it will create 150 jobs in the Baltic Triangle. It has taken a 15-year lease at the site.

Spanning 21,000 sq ft and with a capacity of 600 internal covers and 200 external covers BOXPARK Liverpool will include eight kitchen units. Scheduled to open this autumn but that has now been put back until spring 2024. It will have a 5,000 sq ft garden.

It aims to showcase a “curated selection” of the country’s best street food traders with global cuisine at the heart of the proposition.

All traders will be given a fully-fitted plug and play commercial kitchen worth £100,000. This will include all extraction, refrigeration and preparation equipment ready to launch their street food offering.

Applications are now open. Visit the site to register an interest here.
