DV8 Design helps Archies Bar and Restaurant get set to open doors in Liverpool
Popular burger and shakes bar Archie’s is set to open its doors to the Liverpool public following a creative overhaul carried out by DV8 Designs.
The North West based architecture and interior design firm, headed by MD Lee Birchall and his team, have been appointed to undertake the creative direction of Ranelagh Street’s newest addition.
Mirroring the brand’s original Manchester venue, Archie’s Liverpool will pay homage to the signature white and pink colour scheme and diner-inspired interior. As Archie’s largest site, which spans over two floors, DV8 Designs will create an efficient space for both the fast-food take out and table service facilities.
Lee Birchall said:
“We are working closely alongside the team at Archie’s Burgers and Shakes to ensure that the design perfectly reflects the ethos and image of the brand. In order to echo the Manchester sister venue, we will incorporate a statement design that offers a funky contemporary vibe.
“While designing the new venue, we have considered a range of furniture options that will allow the dynamic of the site to flow smoothly, all the while taking into consideration the existing style and character of the brand. To complement the vivid colour scheme, which will run throughout the property, we will include a range of novel decorate elements and quirky lighting to heighten interest and visual appeal.”
The design firm, which has recently headed a number of projects across Manchester and Liverpool, is currently shortlisted in the 2015 Restaurant and Bar Design Awards for two of its North West ventures.
Lee added:
“It is exciting to play such a prominent part in creating further additions to Liverpool’s already thriving food and drink scene.
“We hope to continue working alongside Archie’s in the future and wish them every success with their new Liverpool venture.”
Archie’s Burgers and Shakes Liverpool will open in October 2015.
