Season tickets for the new £750m Everton FC stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock are now sold out with the club reporting huge demand. Tony McDonough reports

Everton says there will be no more season tickets made available for its new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium for the forthcoming season.
At the end of the current campaign the Blues will leave their longtime home at Goodison Park and kick off the 2025/26 Premier League season at the new £750m arena in Liverpool Waters next to the River Mersey.
Monday this week saw the final window for eligible supporters to secure their seat closed ahead of the first season in the new ground. As anticipated, there was high demand from existing season ticket members.
Thousands more who were at the top of the club’s waiting list took up the option to become a season ticket member from next season. Due to the level of uptake, no more season tickets will be issued for 2025/26, with information about match-by-match ticket purchasing to be communicated this summer.
Supporters remaining on the waiting list will now be contacted in the coming days to confirm their revised waiting list band for the 2026/27 campaign.
Everton have not revealed how many season tickets they have made available but Premier League rules say the allocation must not exceed 80% of the total capacity. Bramley-Moore offers 52,888 seats and 80% of that is 42,310.
At Goodison Park around 31,000 seats were allocated for season tickets. There are now more than 34,000 people on the waiting list.
Colin Chong, Everton’s interim chief executive, said: “The demand we have seen illustrates the passion and commitment of our supporters but also the excitement to be part of our first season at Everton Stadium.
“We always understood that the process by which we moved season ticket members from Goodison to the new stadium would be an important one for fans, and much consultation and benchmarking was done to ensure we came up with a migration process that was fair, consistent and easy to understand.

“Most importantly, the process and infrastructure of the new stadium has allowed us to bring together friends and family to sit – or stand – and enjoy the matchday experience together in a way that, for many, wasn’t possible at Goodison.
“I would like to thank Evertonians for the loyalty they have shown and for coming with us on this journey.”
Everton’s Season Ticket sales process began in January, with supporters given a priority window based on their past season ticket tenure.
Those who had been season ticket members for 23 or more seasons were invited to buy first, with the eligibility criteria decreasing throughout February and March. Qualifying supporters at the top of tier 1 of the club’s season ticket waiting list could then buy between March 15 and Monday’s final deadline.
