A football equipment retailer and a football-focused leisure complex are the latest lettings secured by Liverpool ONE with space totalling 31,000 sq ft. Tony McDonough reports

Liverpool ONE has hit the back of the net with two football-themed lettings opening in spring 2026.
Pro:Direct Soccer, an online football retailer, is opening a 6,000 sq ft PD:FC store, showcasing on-pitch gear, training essentials, terrace-inspired fashion, and city-ready tech clothing and trainers.
Crossbar, occupying 31,000 sq ft on the upper levels of the former Flannels and Beauty Bazaar Harvey Nichols, will feature tech-enabled football boxes with reactive projection, motion tracking, and surround sound.
Alongside the gaming floor will be a bar and casual dining area, while upstairs, Club 11 will provide a full restaurant experience.
Rob Deacon, director of asset management at Liverpool ONE – Landsec, said: “Experience is at the heart of everything we do at Liverpool ONE and we want to create enjoyable moments for visitors every time they are here.
“Crossbar will be a strong new anchor that provides even more reasons to visit or lengthen an existing trip. Joined by PD:FC’s city debut, the brands further reaffirm Liverpool ONE’s position as one of the UK’s leading retail and leisure destinations.”

They are the latest in a string of deals. Last week Liverpool ONE announced that premium jewellery retailer Monica Vinader is to occupy a 1,000 sq ft unit in the former Topshop store that fronts onto Church Street and extends into Peter’s Lane.

Sam Baldock, chief of brand at Pro:Direct, added: “Bringing our PD:FC concept to Liverpool ONE is about more than opening a store; it’s about cementing our vision in one of football’s defining cities.”
And Brett Duarte, founder of Crossbar, also said: “We have a lifelong passion for football so bringing our new kind of football experience to life is a momentous landmark for the Crossbar brand.”
