Legacie Contracts has broken through the £100m revenue barrier for the first time thanks to work on Liverpool projects such as The Gateway and Heap’s Mill.
Acting as the contracting division of Legacie Developments, Legacie contracts is delivering multiple large scale contracts simultaneously. It has revealed a turnover of £116.1m for the 39-week period ending September 30, 2024.
This is significantly higher than the £97.1m reported for the previous year. The company also said gross profits increased 37.9% to just under £4m.
Legacie is currently on site delivering several schemes, including the £200m The Gateway – 656 apartments across four towers connected by a seventh-floor landscaped bridge in Leeds Street in Liverpool, and Heap’s Mill, a £140m residential-led project.
John Morley, chief executive of Legacie, said: “Breaking through the £100m turnover mark is a major milestone for Legacie and a proud moment for everyone involved.
“These results are a testament to the tenacity, hard work and commitment of our team, who have helped position us as one of the most dynamic construction firms in the country.
“We are currently on site with some of the most exciting and transformative property projects in the North, and our pipeline across the country continues to strengthen. The foundations we’ve built over recent years are now delivering exceptional growth.”

Legacie has expanded in recent years, combining development and contracting capabilities to deliver complex residential and mixed-use schemes.
A key priority is to grow the group’s social housing programme and growing retail market offering. It has also attracted international investor interest, including institutional backing for several of its Liverpool projects.
