Liverpool vending machine firm secures new deal
Liverpool vending machine venture ENIX SMART secures deal to supply machines to a West Midlands manufacturer. Tony McDonough reports

Vending machine supplier and operator ENIX SMART has secured a new deal with specialist West Midlands automotive sector supplier EVTEC Group.
Based in London Road in Liverpool city centre, ENIX SMART was founded in 2023. It claims traditional vending machines are “outdated, unreliable, and failed to meet modern consumer expectations”.
Its management team is headed by founder and chief executive Michael Partington. It also includes head of operations Mark Thompson and AI development lead Dr Emily Chen.
It has secured deals with apartment complexes, corporate offices, and high-traffic venues to deliver “modern, aesthetically pleasing vending solutions that provide valuable convenience”.
This latest deal will see it supply a number of machines to EVTEC at its headquarters in Kidderminster. These will include two hot coffee machines and a further three offering ‘healthy meals’, cold drinks and refreshments.

Michael Partington told LBN: “The commercial value is in the long-term partnership. We install, stock, maintain and operate the machines at no cost to Evtec.
“Enix Smart retains the vending revenue. For us, this represents a multi-site, recurring revenue opportunity and a strategic partnership with a major automotive manufacturer.

“If the rollout is successful at this site, the intention is to expand across other Evtec Group locations, which significantly increases the overall contract value over time.
“As we install and stock the Kidderminster site over the coming weeks, we’re looking forward to seeing these spaces come alive with people enjoying great food and each other’s company.”
