Global marine consultancy Brookes Bell is to relocate its Liverpool office to Princes Dock in Liverpool Waters.

Brookes Bell, which is currently based at Exchange Flags in the commercial district of the city, has agreed a deal with Liverpool Waters owner Peel Waters to take 5,500 sq ft of office space on the top floor of No 10 Princes Dock.

This space overlooks the river and the cruise terminal and the company will join existing tenants including cruise terminal operator Global Ports Holding, shipping giant CMA CGM and insurance specialist Griffiths & Armour.

With more than 120 years of maritime heritage, Liverpool remains central to Brookes Bell’s global operations.

It continues to expand its services across salvage, marine engineering, cargo science, naval architecture, metallurgy, fire investigation, paint and coatings, and fuels and liquid cargos, supporting clients across major maritime hubs worldwide.

Andrew Yarwood, business director at Brookes Bell, said: “This move is a really important step for Brookes Bell in Liverpool. Our business has grown significantly, and we needed a workspace that reflects how we work today and where we’re going next.

“Princes Dock gives us a modern, flexible environment that supports collaboration across our teams, while keeping us right at the heart of the city’s maritime community.

“Liverpool has always been central to Brookes Bell’s story, and this move underlines our long-term commitment to the city and the region.”

This deal is the biggest office letting at Princes Dock so far in 2026. Brookes Bell’s new space will provide an open-plan environment with meeting facilities and improved shared areas.

Liza Marco, senior asset manager at Liverpool Waters, said: “Brookes Bell is an internationally recognised business operating around the globe and its decision to relocate here is a strong endorsement of both Liverpool Waters and the quality workspace available here.”
