Property tech venture Breezemove has secured £160,000 from GC Angels to accelerate the expansion of the property transaction platform.
Founded in 2022 by property developer and entrepreneur Phil Melia, Breezemove was created to address inefficiencies within the UK property market.
Unlike traditional property transaction platforms that focus primarily on milestone tracking, Breezemove manages the entire transaction value chain, creating greater transparency and accountability for all parties involved.
It streamlines communication and accountability across the entire property transaction process, helping estate agents, solicitors and buyers move quickly.
Already operating across Birmingham and Liverpool, Breezemove claims to have helped halve transaction times while reducing the likelihood of property sales falling through by more than 90%.
This cash injection from GC Angels will support Breezemove’s expansion into Manchester. Phil Melia said: “Having spent more than a decade in property development, I experienced first-hand the frustrations and inefficiencies that exist throughout the home-moving process.
“We launched Breezemove to bring greater accountability, transparency and efficiency to every stage of the transaction journey.”

Breezemove currently employs a team of eight and plans to significantly expand its workforce over the coming months, growing both its sales and technology functions.
It is also looking to recruit specialist data scientists and product talent as it continues to develop its platform and strengthen its data-driven capabilities. And the company is also looking to expand into Leeds, London and Bristol.

This latest investment follows previous backing from FSE Capital in 2023 and forms part of an ongoing fundraising round of £750,000, with the company having also secured support from angel investors.
Ranvir Singh, investment manager at GC Angels, added: “The property transaction process is extremely complex and fragmented. Breezemove has developed an innovative solution that addresses these challenges by improving accountability and transparency across the entire transaction chain.”
