A former brownfield site in Wirral is now the location of a multi-million pound development of 66 homes.

Affordable homes provider Onward Homes and builder Lovell came together to deliver Foxfield Park on the former Foxfield School site in Moreton. It comprises two, three and four-bedroom homes.

They are a mix of terraced and semi-detached dwellings across a range of affordable tenures including shared ownership, affordable rent and Rent to Buy through Onward. Affordable rent is rent set at no more than 80% of the local market rate.

Sandy Kelly, interim growth and regeneration director at Onward, said: “It’s incredibly satisfying to complete our latest development in Wirral, further improving the quality and choice of affordable housing for local people.

“These modern homes are not only affordable to rent or buy – they will also be more affordable to run in the long term thanks to their energy-efficient design and construction.

Alongside new homes, this development has also unlocked real opportunities for local people and supported the local supply chain.

“We look forward to building on our strong partnerships with Lovell and Wirral Council to help more people in the area find a home that meets their needs.”
