Carringtons Catering is marking Coeliac Awareness Week by highlighting the importance of catering to dietary requirements.
With the commemorative week (9-15 May) underway, the North West based catering company is aiming to raise awareness of the culinary options available to those who are suffering from allergies and food intolerances such as coeliac disease.
The independent firm located in Roby Mill is also catering to a range of culinary requirements and preferences including vegan and dairy-free diets.
Director of Carringtons Catering Helen Wynn said:
“With Coeliac Awareness Week underway, we think that it’s a great time to highlight the importance of catering to dietary requirements properly. As eating out can often be a worry for those suffering from coeliac disease, we make all of our dishes from scratch so that diners know exactly what is in each gluten-free option. Our holistic approach to catering means that we like to go above and beyond for all of our guests, focusing on the individual needs and requirements to each and every client. We want to create a first class dining experience that is available to everybody, no matter of intolerances, allergies or dietary requirements.”
With more than 35 years’ experience in the catering industry, Carringtons Catering specialises in wedding catering but also offers its tailored services for a range of private events including birthdays, christenings and corporate occasions.
The firm has struck up a multitude of prominent affiliations with various high-profile venues across Liverpool and Wirral including Liverpool Town Hall, The Floral Pavilion and The Great Hall at Mains. Carringtons Catering is also one of the preferred caterers of Sefton Park Palm House and St George’s Hall.
Fellow Director of Carringtons Catering and Master Chef of Great Britain Darren Wynn added:
“We know that many individuals who are living with a food intolerance often worry about, and even avoid going out to eat, as it can often cause stress and anxiety; which is why we have put a series of measures in place. While our kitchen team is fully trained in catering to those with dietary requirements, we also ensure that our front-of-house staff members are on hand to answer any questions that our diners may have about the preparation and ingredients of their meals. In turn, this offers total peace of mind to all of those who eat and drink with us.”
