The multi-million pound bar, events space and wedding venue on top of the Shankly Hotel in Victoria Street, in Liverpool city centre. Tony McDonough reports.

Signature Living has released the latest images showing how the the spectacular rooftop bar, events space and wedding venue on top of the Shankly Hotel in Liverpool will look.

Known as Eden, the the multi-million pound city centre development is a separate venue in its own right and offers views across Merseyside, Wirral and North Wales.

The venue ill officially open with a high-profile celebrity party hosted by Signature Living’s founders Katie and Lawrence Kenwright on November 18.

The images of the 14,000 sq ft project, which includes and indoor function suite and outdoor events area spanning two levels, showcases the Garden of Eden and wonderland theme that the company is trying to emulate.

The first phase of the extension to the Victoria Street-based building has already hosted a series of small weddings and will stage a number of major events in 2017 including a dance festival and classical music concert.

Meanwhile, Signature Living, which is sponsoring the DreamWorks One Magical City event taking place this December, will transform the space into a spectacular Christmas grotto throughout the festive season.

Katie Kenwright said: “We are incredibly excited to be launching Eden and showcasing this wonderful events and wedding venue to the city.

“Although connected to the Shankly Hotel, Eden has a unique identity of its own. The venue will play host to a number of very special events over the next couple of months.

“A great deal of hard work is being put into this project. Eden will be perfect place for special occasions and celebrating life’s memorable moments.”
