North West catering company gears up to host Christmas cabaret dinner show in the heart of Liverpool city centre. Andrew Wright reports.

Carringtons Catering, a North West catering firm with more than 30 years in the industry, has unveiled its festive offering as a series of Christmas parties in one of the city’s most iconic postcodes.

‘The Show Spectacular’ takes place in Liverpool Town Hall throughout December, where the grand ballroom will be transformed into an exclusive, glamorous VIP experience. With tickets not on sale to the general public, the party package is designed to provide businesses, including the nearby commercial district, with the ideal base to begin their corporate festive celebrations in style.

The evening entertainment package kicks off with a red carpet entrance with Christmas cocktail. This will be followed pre-dinner entertainment courtesy of stilt walkers and glamorous show girls. Dinner will be provided by Master Chef of Great Britain, Darren Wynn, who will be serving up a three-course festive feast, which will be washed down with a complimentary half bottle of wine or a couple of beers. With guests suitably fed and refreshed, they will be treated to a stylish dinner show, which includes an award-winning illusionist, spectacular circus acts and music.

With the town hall’s glamorous location, including its close proximity to Castle Street’s bars, and Carringtons’ acclaimed reputation for staging events of this ilk, all of the ingredients are in place to kick off the festive merriments in style.

Tickets are priced at £75 + VAT per person, and there is the option to book one table, or for the ultimate in exclusivity, the opportunity to book the whole place, with no additional hire charge for parties over 100.
