Entries are now open for the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards which take place at St George’s Hall on Thursday, May 24 next year.
Sponsored by TicketQuarter, the awards celebrate the region’s best tourism businesses and individuals, and organisers are urging all award hopefuls to submit their entries.
The 16 categories cover the whole industry and include: Hotel of the Year, Entertainment Venue of the Year, Excellence in Business Tourism and Tourism Star.
Peter Sandman, head of visitor economy for the Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “Over the years these awards have built a strong reputation for rewarding and celebrating the cream of the crop from our impressive tourism sector.
“This event provides the perfect setting to acknowledge not only industry excellence but also recognise the major role the sector has on the region’s economy.”
