Amazing tours of Liverpool’s world-famous Royal Liver Building, featuring spectacular 360-degree views and digital displays inside the clock tower, will begin in spring 2019.

Heritage Great Britain, who will operate the tours has revealed more details about what visitors can expect. The attraction is being introduced as part of a wider transformation of the waterfront site.

Property consultancy CBRE has submitted multiple planning applications for the building which include a ‘world class’ visitor attraction, a restaurant and gym as well as a significant upgrade to the standard of office space.

Royal Liver Building 360 brings guided public tours to the 15th floor of Liverpool’s most iconic landmark for the first time with tickets due to go on sale in January 2019.

The experience begins in a new lower ground floor visitor centre where the building’s history starts to come to life, before continuing to the 10th and 15th floors of the 321ft structure, where guests will enjoy spectacular 360-degree views across the city of Liverpool and River Mersey.

Your guides will also take guests inside the famous clock tower where they can watch an immersive audio-visual experience, projected digitally onto the walls around them.

Allan Leech, chief executive of Heritage Great Britain, said: “Heritage Great Britain is unlocking this city icon and bringing it back to life for tourists and residents to enjoy.

“Guests will enjoy interactive displays, including a cutting-edge audio-visual presentation in the clock tower showcasing the history and culture of the city. Stunning 360-degree open air views across the Liverpool skyline and River Mersey make this an unforgettable bucket-list experience for locals and tourists alike.”

Chris Brown, director of Marketing Liverpool, added: “Opening up such a world-famous building will not only appeal to people locally but also the millions of tourists who visit Liverpool every year.”

The tour will take approximately 70 minutes and is limited to groups of 14 people per time slot. To register interest, go to www.rlb360.com ahead of tickets becoming available from January next year.
