Maray will offer 50% food discount in its first week at the Royal Albert Dock
Popular Liverpool restaurant brand will open its third outlet in Liverpool after originally launching in Bold Street in the city centre in 2014
Popular Liverpool restaurant brand Maray is to open its third outlet in the city, opening at Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock on Monday, July 8.
And to celebrate the launch of the venue, based at the Britannia Pavilion, Maray is offering diners 50% off food all week from Monday 8-15 July, (excluding Thursday, July 11).
Maray has become hugely popular since it first opened in the city centre back in 2014, and features cocktails and small plates, with influences from the Middle East, Mediterranean and North Africa. It later opened a second site in Allerton Road.
The new 65-cover restaurant will be serving favourites such as lamb shawarma with herb feta, apricot and pistachio, falafel with hummus and tabouleh and of course the people’s champion – ‘Disco Cauliflower’ with tahini, yoghurt, harissa, chermoula and pomegranate.
Guests will also be able to sip an array of creative drinks in the cocktail bar which boasts beautiful views across the Dock. The cocktail list includes the likes of the Seychelles Sanctuary; a tiki storm with French complexity, comprising of Takamaka Coconut rum, pineapple, jasmine green tea and Suze.
Interior features include antique Parisian light shades and reclaimed, parquet flooring on the mezzanine level which was salvaged from a school gym. Guests can also enjoy a theatrical dining experience whilst sitting up at the kitchen counter dining area, overlooking the chefs.
Co-founder of Maray, Tom White, said: “It’s a very exciting time for us – not just because we’re launching a third outlet but because it’s in the incredible setting of the prestigious Albert Dock. The build is really coming together now and we can’t wait to welcome guests old and new when we finally get to open our doors.”
