More than 180 cyclists, including CBRE team members from Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds, took part in the second CBRE Cycle Series North to raise cash for Action for Children

Professionals from the Liverpool office of property consultancy CBRE joined colleagues from across the North in a cycling challenge that raised thousands of pounds for charity.

More than 180 cyclists, including CBRE team members from Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds and those from other firms, took part in the second CBRE Cycle Series North and rode for either 50km or 100km through the Yorkshire Dales.

CBRE signed a two-year partnership with Action for Children last year and the charity welcomed a cash injection of more than £11,500 from the inaugural North cycle event in 2018, which is vital in helping to build safe and loving homes for more than 700 children in care and to support foster parents.

CBRE has added further to the charity’s coffers with another successful Northern cycling event. John Ogden, managing director of CBRE Manchester, said: “Our second Cycle Series North was a fantastic event and we are delighted to see even more cyclists from the property world taking part this year for this very worthy charity to help vulnerable and disadvantaged young people and families across the UK.

“Once again, it proved to be an excellent platform to further build relationships with our client base and participating industry colleagues. We had a fantastic turnout. Thanks to our colleagues and everyone from the industry who took the time to get involved in the day and a special thank you to our sponsors and supporters who helped to make the event the success it was.”
