New senior promotion at MSP Global
Liverpool AV, production and live events business MSP Global announces new senior promotion
MSP Global has appointed Ritchie Nield to a new role of general manager.
Based in Liverpool, the AV, production and live events business includes clients such as Matalan, Speedy Hire and Everton FC among its roster.
And MSP has been appointed to deliver live and hybrid events on behalf of United Utilities and the Royal British Legion. It has also supported global events including Eurovision, Cop26 and various United Nation Summits in Qatar.
In response to this continued client growth, the Aintree-headquartered firm has restructured its operations and promoted Ritchie, formerly its key account manager, to a newly-created role of general manager.
It is hoped this new role will allow MSP to work more effectively with a wider group of blue-chip clients and manage larger contracts.
He will be supported by David Clatworthy, director of operations and a freshly restructured team that includes Lewis Nolan, who has been promoted to technical production manager.
The move is also intended to support the firm’s ambitions to attract new investment and collaboration opportunities in the coming years.

Ritchie said: “MSP Global has developed an excellent reputation for client service, creativity and delivery across a wide range of sectors.
“I am delighted to be taking up a brand-new role within the business that will allow us to spread our wings even further and explore new routes for expansion.
“Our new structure means we are able to attract greater volumes of clients with requirements for live, remote and hybrid events in the UK and beyond.
“Part of my role will be to oversee all aspects of account management and internal technical delivery to ensure our reputation is preserved and enhanced.”
