Liverpool wine supplier unveils senior appointment
Liverpool ‘healthier’ wine specialist ThinK Wine announces the appointment of a new sales director
ThinK Wine has announced the appointment of Hayley Coley as its new sales director.
Hayley joins Liverpool-based ThinK after spending four years at North West alcoholic drinks wholesaler Hops & Barley where she was head of sales. She left the business to start a family.
Now she is joining ThinK, a supplier of ‘healthier’ choice low sulphite, vegan, organic Prosecco and sparkling rosé. She offers more than 20 years in the hotel and hospitality sector, predominantly working in F&B sales and spa, golf and leisure hotels.
ThinK was founded by Kath Jones in summer 2019. She saw a gap in the market for a “healthier wine option”.
After multiple trips to Italy and a lot of fine tuning, a vegan, organic, reduced calorie Prosecco and Pinot Grigio Sparkling Rose were created and ready for sale.
It now has a large number of online followers and is popular with wine connoisseurs in California, New York, New Jersey and Florida.
Kath said: “We’re very proud to welcome Hayley to the team. We have big plans to grow the trade side of our business, which has not been without challenges, especially for me as a female trying to break through with a new brand in a predominantly male industry.
“What spurs me on is that not only do I truly believe in our product and that palatable low calorie, low sugar options should be widely available on drinks menus, but once people try ThinK Wine, they are always won over by the taste and quality.
“Hayley has a real wealth of experience and is very well connected in the industry. Since trying our product, she has been one of our biggest cheerleaders.

Hayley added: “After years of drinking a glass of wine pretty much every evening after work, when I had my daughter, I suddenly found that I could not stand the smell or taste of alcohol. That is until the day I drank a glass of ThinK Prosecco.
“I was blown away that a wine which tasted so good, could be low in sugar, sulphites and calories. It all sounds too good to be true but on this occasion, it isn’t.”
