Birkenhead-based Woods Squared was named Business of the Year (under 11 employees) at the Wirral Business Awards.

Accountancy firm boss Alan Woods has described his Wirral-based team as “awesome” after it was named Business of the Year (under 11 employees) at the Wirral Business Awards.

Woods Squared was established in Birkenhead’s Hamilton Square in 2007 by Alan and Tracy Woods.

At the awards ceremony at Thornton Manor, the practice beat off competition from Karen Davies Sugarcraft, Mere Brook House and Whitmore to scoop the accolade.

Mr Woods told YBNews: “It’s great to receive recognition of the great work that our awesome team does for businesses in the local area”
