adept4 ramp up £8million in new business wins

IT services company adept4 is continuing to enjoy strong performance after securing £8 million of new business wins this year.

The company, which is headquartered at Daresbury Business Park, with offices in London and Aberdeen, has won a number of key new contracts since January this year.

The contracts, which range in length from three to seven years, will provide a consistent source of revenue as the business continues to grow.

Key wins include a seven-figure deal to provide full IT and telephone services to North West-based healthcare provider Baywater Healthcare, delivering 24 hour specialist support to the company’s staff of 150 across 11 sites.

adept4, which had sales of £4.45 million in 2013, has official partner status with some of the world’s leading technology vendors, including Microsoft, IBM and Cisco, and works in partnership with businesses to provide them with tailored IT systems solutions.

The business has also been rated as ‘STRONG’ – in a recent independent Plimsoll report which analyses the investment potential of the UK’s top 588 IT management companies.

STRONG is the highest accolade awarded by the Plimsoll report and reflects excellent financial performance across all elements of the business.

In addition to its positive financial performance, the company also became an accredited Living Wage employer this year and has more than doubled its team in the last year to over 50 staff based across the country.

The company has made a series of strategic additions and restructures to its team to prepare for future growth. The new team is playing a key role in positioning the company to pursue long-term expansion and help the business to expand without compromising on efficiency, capability or quality of service.

The development of adept4’s cloud-based offering, which includes extending and adding new services in partnership with Microsoft and Cisco has been another key focus area in 2014. Developing SharePoint and Lync offering– both elements of Office 365 – are key targets for the next 12 months, as is continuing to deliver professional services projects on time and on budget.

Going forward, adept4 is aiming to achieve further growth in the North West market where its current largest client with over 29 global locations is headquartered. It is also planning to increase its presence in the 50 -500 market in Manchester and Liverpool where it has recently won three large contracts.
