Ahoy take residence in Cotton Exchange

The digital branding agency Ahoy has taken offices in the trading rooms of Liverpool’s Grade II-listed Cotton Exchange.

After three months of research for an appropriate city in the north of England, Ahoy founder Mark Stringer decided Liverpool was the best location.

Bruntwood’s Cotton Exchange was chosen for a number of factors, not least the location, competitive rent, appealing rooms and the large roof garden networking space.

Mark Stringer said:

“We will look to grow our Liverpool presence slowly but surely, self-funding it along the way. Of course, if we get offers of investment, things could grow much quicker, and the flexibility of the Cotton Exchange means we could easily move to a bigger space in the future.”

Colin Forshaw, head of property at Bruntwood, added:

“We’re delighted that a digital agency as innovative as Ahoy have joined the ever-growing creative community in the Cotton Exchange, at the heart of our Cotton Quarter scheme.”
