Bootle firm specialises in air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation acquired ventilation wholesalers  and in November acquired ventilation wholesalers Hargreaves in a £150,000 deal

Bootle-based Everkool has secured a contract to supply air conditioning across Knowsley Council’s property portfolio.

Founded by Craig Greenwood in 2008, Everkool specialises in air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation. In November it acquired ventilation wholesalers Hargreaves in a £150,000 deal.

As of the deal with Knowsley, the firm ill supply air conditioning across council-owned properties in the borough including Huyton’s municipal building, Huyton library as well as schools and community centres.

Everkool established a reputation as one of the region’s biggest supplier of ventilation technology over the last 10 years and has relationships with some of the largest organisations in Merseyside, including Merseytravel, Iliad and Signature Living hotels. 

The firm has expanded its operation this year after appointing five new employees to its technical team and adding three new vehicles to its fleet.

Craig Greenwood said: “Our business growth in 2018 has surpassed our expectations and we’ve significantly added to our client portfolio.

“The business growth has allowed us to expand the Everkool team and given us new focus for 2019 when we’re aiming to grow even further and continue to raise the profile of the company beyond the North West.”
