Ceramics designer Alison Appleton can be proud this week as her beautiful “Camellia” cups have featured in the latest Twinings Tea televisions ad, directed by the BAFTA award-winners Mikey Please and Dan Ojari.

Alison Appleton originally established her British Ceramic Desgin Studio in 1998 and is now housed in Baltic Creative. She has created a range of distinctive, high quality tea and coffee products, which are distributed and sold through major retailers like John Lewis, Harrods, Anthropologie, Crate & Barrel, Zara Home, and Marks & Spencer. Alison Appleton is also a named designer at La Cafetiere.

Taking inspiration from the delicate beauty of the Camellia Sinensis flower, whose leaves are used to make all of the world’s teas, Alison Appleton’s Camellia collection made the perfect partner to Twinings Tea in their latest adverts, which can be seen here.
