Allied Irish Bank’s Liverpool-based team is providing a six-figure refinance package to Frodsham Golf Club in Cheshire.
Located on top of Frodsham Hill, Frodsham Golf Club is set amongst 130 acres of countryside with spectacular views of the Mersey Estuary. It was first opened in 1990 and has recently undergone significant changes.
It has enhanced the facilities for members and offers a new lifestyle experience with a “quirky” new clubhouse called the Cowshed and an all inclusive package for members. Adjacent to the 18th hole, the Cowshed takes its inspiration from being located where there was previously a cattle farm.
The result is a contemporary and relaxing club house enhanced with décor of cows and fur hides. A further new addition to the club is an new all-inclusive package which provides members with unlimited golf, a 15 minute monthly golf lesson and free bar food, soft drinks and selected drinks.
Paul Williams, owner of Frodsham Golf Club, said: “We are very excited by the new changes at the club, especially with what we believe is the first all inclusive membership package for golf club members in the UK.
“Our aim is to provide a lifestyle experience for our members in relaxed and friendly surroundings and the design of the Cowshed club house epitomises our ethos of providing a unique and fun experience combined with exceptional value.”
Allied Irish Bank first supported Mr Williams in 2007 when he completed the management-buy-out of the club. Jonathan Beckwith, area director with the bank, added: “There have been some significant and exciting developments at the club which are enhancing the facilities available for members.
“The fun and relaxing environment of the Cowshed and new all-inclusive package is creating a real buzz and offering a lifestyle experience for members of all abilities.”
