Accountancy firm DSG is expanding its Liverpool headquarters after seeing a 25% surge in headcount.

During the past year employee numbers at DSG have risen from 90 to 113, necessitating the need for more space at its base at 43 Castle Street in the city centre. It is moving from the fifth floor to 9,500 sq ft of office space on the fourth floor. This will provide an open plan working environment with meeting rooms and a dining area.

In December, DSG completed the transfer of international accounting firm Mazars’ Liverpool audit practice, which boosted the firm’s audit team to 31. From Liverpool, and an office in North Wales, the firm provides services to SMES and larger businesses.

Senior partner Tony Bayliss said: “This office move is a key part of our growth plan, providing us with a space that enables us to meet the growing demand for our services.

It’s been an exciting time for DSG in the last 12 months, and the addition of the Mazars Liverpool audit team has reinforced our position as one of the region’s largest independent advisory practices.

“The space also enables us to provide a better environment for our staff, and we’re looking forward to welcoming our clients to the office in the coming months.”
