The Button Street Smokehouse is the latest venture from Liverpool-based company Bistro Qui? which has just invested a substantial six-figure sum in a brand new restaurant and cocktail bar concept in the heart of the Cavern Quarter close to Mathew Street.
Dedicated to the Deep South with a strong urban feel, Bistro Qui Ltd is the group that has already enjoyed resounding success in the city with The Hub Alehouse & Kitchen on Hanover Street plus French Bistros, Pierre in the Cavern Quarter, Jacques on Hardman Street and Franc on Hanover Street. Most recently, the group opened another Bistro Jacques in Shrewsbury.
Managing Director Mark Friend, said:
“Button Street Smokehouse offers a very unique setting for guests in that the building was previously a corn warehouse and later a printed paper holding house and we’ve worked hard to retain many of the original features.
“The early signs are great and we’ve already had great feedback. Deep South cooking with marinades, rubs, rotisserie chicken, smoking meats/ribs, barbequing, hot sauces, spices, Cajun, Creole, seasoning, home-cooked, sticky and messy dishes have gone down really well.
“We think our guests will enjoy the difference in the diversity of our drinks including American bottled and draught beers, contemporary cocktails, house smoked moonshine and a massive range of bourbons and whiskeys!
“Plus, the friendliness of stylishly presented team in a cool and welcoming space looks like signalling Button Street Smokehouse as an instant hit in Liverpool.”
Smokehouse has created 40 jobs and brings the total number created by the group to 210.
