Elliot Group’s £100m Wolstenholme Square development in Liverpool

Agents at CBRE are in discussions with potential occupiers for six of the 10 available commercial units at Elliot Group £100m Wolstenholme Square development in Liverpool.

Located in the city’s Ropewalks District, the project has seen the building of 470 apartments as well we a new pedestrian route – now open – lined with retail units which link Wolstenholme Square with Seel Street.  There are also a number of units facing the revamped square itself.

Nick Huddleston of CBRE said: “The ambition has always been to add to the Ropewalks’ place as a home for Liverpool’s independents and that’s where our focus lies.

“We’re in discussion with some really interesting operators and expect to make some announcements shortly.  It’s a very good scheme in a thriving neighbourhood.  You only have to see the transformation of Duke Street on the west side of the square to see the additional potential that Wolstenholme offers.”

The units range in size from 474 sq ft to 2314 sq ft with tenants welcome to combine units to create larger spaces, should they wish.

Elliot Group director Elliot Lawless added: “I’m delighted to welcome CBRE back to the team. They sold me the last of the sites for the project and bring tremendous reach and energy. They’ll play a key role in ensuring our tenants provide the final polish to what is already a great scheme.”
