Regenda Group has ‘topped out’ phase one of its £90m Grove Street Development which is set to deliver more than 300 homes.

Developers perform a topping out ceremony when a new build reaches its highest point in construction. Located Toxteth, Grove Street is currently one of the UK’s largest social housing projects.

It brings together several divisions of the Regenda Group, including M&Y Construction, Redwing, Positive Footprints, and The Learning Foundry.

Attendees at the ceremony included Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram and Cllr Nathalie Nicholas, alongside Homes England, future residents of Grove Street, local schoolchildren from St Anne’s Catholic Primary School, community leaders and project partners.

A highlight of the event was the ceremonial signing of a steel beam, which will be encased at the heart of the building’s structure.

Stephanie Harrison, executive director of operations and customer service at Regenda Group, said: “Reaching the topping out stage at Grove Street is a proud moment for everyone involved.

“This development embodies the very best of what Regenda stands for – not just building homes but creating opportunities, enriching lives, and investing in the future of communities.”
