Staged over 12 days in September, Liverpool Theatre Festival also includes a showcase for new talent and events consultancy Entertainment 51 has been tasked with securing sponsorship
Events consultancy Entertainment 51 will look to secure sponsorship and partners for the award-winning Liverpool Theatre Festival (LTF) which takes place this summer.
Sponsors will have two opportunities; Little LTF, a week-long special showcase for new writing and emerging talent, in July and the main festival which is being staged over 12 days in September.
The inaugural Liverpool Theatre Festival took place in the atmospheric surroundings of the city’s St Luke’s Bombed Out Church last summer and attracted more than 2,500 performance fans across nine days.
Festival director Bill Elms said: “It’s wonderful to have secured Entertainment 51 to work on bringing sponsors on board. Gaining sponsorship and receiving business support is essential to mount events on this scale and for the events to be able to grow.
Liverpool Theatre Festival was a huge success in its inaugural year during the pandemic where everyone pulled together to make it happen. To bring it back and grow it into an annual festival relies in part on the generous support of our business community; we couldn’t continue without them.
“And it’s wonderful to know that there are businesses who are willing to support the return of the arts in what has been a very challenging year.”
In addition, Entertainment 51 has also gained the rights to secure sponsors and partners for the 24-Hour Plays taking place this autumn at the historic Laurence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield.
London-based Entertainment 51 was established in 2017 as a family-owned firm specialising in the creation, management and operation of exciting and immersive events and experiences.
