Former Labour Party spin doctor and television publicist Daniel Hughes has announced a rebrand of his public relations relations agency.

He has replaced ‘Daniel Hughes Public Relations’ with ‘ThisGeneration’.  The agency was originally started by Daniel in 2014 after a career working in the media relations and campaigns division of the Labour Party and in television PR. It works across the North West and in London.

Clients include Heritage Great Britain, Square Peg Media, Ion Developments, Legacie Group, and ESE Energy who are one of Britain’s biggest suppliers of solar energy.

“ThisGeneration represents everything we do in terms of generating powerful reputations, generating influence and generating connections,” said Daniel. “The rebrand better reflects what we do.

“ThisGeneration is a modern, forward-thinking agency with a creative team that has a proven track record of delivering results for a broad client portfolio. We are known for delivering campaigns that cut through and get people talking in the right way.”

Daniel and his team masterminded the PR campaign for Westlife’s pop comeback in 2019  which saw the Irish superstars score their first number one album in more than a decade. They have also managed celebrity profiles including football star Jamie Carragher, Kelly Osbourne and Louis Walsh.

The agency will lead the PR campaign for the 2020 British LGBT Awards and continues to work with grassroots football charity, The 23 Foundation.

Daniel added: “2020 is going to be a big year for ThisGeneration. We’ve appointed new members to the team and we are working on a number of high profile new campaigns. This is an exciting new chapter.”
