Property agents are seeking potential tenants for almost 5,000 sq ft of office accommodation overlooking Liverpool waterfront that formerly housed the Juice FM radio station. Tony McDonough reports
Property agents are seeking potential tenants for office space on The Strand in Liverpool city centre that was previously used as radio station studios.
Juice FM moved into the almost 5,000 sq ft space at One Park West in 2012, relocating from Fleet Street. The station was originally launched as Crash FM in 1995 by Janice Long and Bernie Connor and became Juice FM in 2000 following a takeover.
In 2015 the station was acquired by Global Radio for £10m and in 2016 was rebranded as Capital Liverpool. However, the operation was eventually wound down over a period of time as Global replaced local programming with output from London.
Now the site is being marketed for let by agents at Keppie Massie and Worthington Owen on behalf of owner Landsec, which also owns the adjacent Liverpool ONE retail and leisure complex.
Tim Garnett, director at Keppie Massie, said: “One Park West is a truly unique building, overlooking the city’s iconic waterfront, providing a wow factor to prospective tenants. Ample on-site parking and proximity to city centre amenities only add to its desirability.
