An IT training firm that is delivering skills training on behalf of Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram has set up a new base in the Cotton Exchange in Liverpool. Tony McDonough reports
IT training specialist Netcom Training will help deliver a city region skills programme from its new base in Liverpool city centre.
Birmingham-based Netcom, which is working in partnership with Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram on digital skills training. Is taking 1,570 sq ft of office space at the Cotton Exchange in a deal with Bruntwood Works.
It will use the office as a platform to deliver a range of online training courses. These include web design, software development, cyber security, digital design and infrastructure protection.
It joins a number of digital and technology businesses at Cotton Exchange. The building is also home to other high-profile tenants including Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, Downtown in Business and Professional Liverpool.
Customers get free access to Bruntwood Works’ business support programme Spark. They also have the provision of an onsite community team to connect businesses and enhance opportunities for collaboration.
