Southport law firm Fletchers Solicitors is continuing its expansion across the UK with new bases in the Midlands and the south of England.

Fletchers has expanded its specialist dental negligence practice into both Reading and Birmingham as part of its ongoing national growth strategy.

This follows the firm’s expansion into both regions last year, after acquiring Shoosmiths’ personal injury and clinical negligence practices. The new teams will be led by associate Katie Parr.

“We are seeing a clear and sustained rise in dental negligence enquiries, highlighting the growing need for specialist legal expertise in this field,” said Katie.

“Expanding into both Reading and Birmingham allows us to better support clients locally, while continuing to deliver the high standard of representation our teams are known for.”

Katie brings more than 16 years’ experience in dental negligence. She previously led a landmark case in the Royal Courts of Justice which resulted in the highest-ever general damages award for a dental negligence claim.

During the past 12 months, the firm’s dental negligence division has seen significant growth, including a 135% increase in signed cases and the addition of eight new fee earners to its Liverpool team.

This latest development forms part of the firm’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in key regions across England.

In April Fletchers completed two more acquisitions, the latest of a string of deals as part of its aggressive growth strategy. It acquired Durham-based EMG Solicitors and JE Bennett Law which has its headquarters in Kent.
