Specialist law firm Horwich Farrelly (HF) is opening a new office in Liverpool having closed its previous base during the pandemic.
Manchester-based HF, which offers legal services to the insurance and commercial sectors,, has taken office space at 20 Chapel Street in the commercial district. Initially its team will comprise 30 people but it says it intends to grow the team.
They work in the firm’s insurance litigation and large loss team. HF will be neighbours with a number of blue-chip businesses already at 20 Chapel Street. Among them are Ernst & Young, Barclays and Liverpool FC and Appreciate Group.
Ronan McCann, chief executive and managing partner at HF, said “We are thrilled to be back in Liverpool, we love the city and see so much potential to grow our business there.
“The new office supports our focus on our people, giving an accessible and desirable work environment which supports our flexible, hybrid working model.

Agents from Colliers in Manchester helped HF to identify suitable office space. Director Dominic Pozzoni added, “We’re delighted to have been able to assist HF in their expansion and identify suitable new offices in Liverpool.
“It’s always exciting to work with forward thinking and growing organisations such as HF and the Colliers team have very much enjoyed working on this project.”
