A group of Liverpool cocktail bars is set to come together under one roof as Cocktails in the City, the nation’s leading cocktail event, arrives in Liverpool for the first time at The Great Baltic Warehouse on Friday June 30.
Event goers will be invited to raise a glass to the quality and diversity of Liverpool’s thriving cocktail culture with each bar, hosted by expert bartenders, showcasing signature cocktails designed exclusively for Cocktails in the City.
Cocktail lovers will be invited to discover something different and learn about the art of mixology with hands-on mixing sessions and tasting tables running 45 minute sessions throughout the night.
There will also be street food on offer from vendors such as Slims Pork Chop Express.
Entertainment will also be available in the form of London pop-up sensation Pitch Black, where you are invited to try drinks in total darkness, or you can sink a few holes with Ghetto Golf.
Around 900 people are exepcted to attend the event which costs £12 a ticket and includes a free welcome cocktail on entry.
Tabara N’Diaye of Cocktails in the City says: “We’re celebrating our fifth birthday this year and we’re thrilled to be coming to Liverpool for the first time. Liverpool has a fantastic and diverse number of bars and we can’t wait to celebrate the city’s vibrant cocktail scene.
“In the spirit of friendly rivalry, guests will be invited to vote for their favourite bar, so expect to be entertained and educated along the evening by some of the best talent in town.”
