Liverpool Chamber welcomes five recruits including two new faces on its senior leadership team. Tony McDonough reports

Liverpool Chamber has welcomed five new recruits to its team

 

Christine Vaudrey and Samantha Barker have joined the senior leadership team at Liverpool Chamber as part of an intake of five new recruits.

Christine joins the chamber as director of business and stakeholder engagement. She spent four years at housing provider Torus as group director of strategy and communications.

Prior to that Christine also worked in senior business development and international relations roles at Liverpool Vision and Liverpool City Council. She will combine her Chamber role with other external engagements.

Samantha is the chamber’s new director of policy and skills. She brings more than 20 years’ experience in senior policy, stakeholder engagement and skills roles at organisations including the Federation of Small Businesses, Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Kier Group and WSP.

They are joined by three other new recruits across a range of roles. Debbie Elliott-Brown is new business support engagement manager, Aoibheann McCormack has joined as business support events co-ordinator, and Lucy Welsh arrives as business support marketing assistant.
