Liverpool ONE signs footwear retailer

Footwear retailer size? is part of the JD Group

 

Liverpool ONE owner Grosvenor has signed up footwear retailer size? in the latest in a string of lettings in 2022.

Part of the JD Group, size? Will relocate from its current Liverpool home in Bold Street this winter. It will open a new 2,734 sq ft store design concept in Peter’s Lane. It joins other JD brands JD Sports and Tessuti at Liverpool ONE.

Designer clothes brand Tessuti only opened its Liverpool ONE outlet in August this year. It is now trading from Paradise Street. In the same month global beauty brand Charlotte Tilbury also said it would open a new store in Paradise Street.

Also at the end of August sportswear brand Under Armour announced it is to open a new 3,000 sq ft store in Liverpool ONE by the end of the year. And in September Inditex-owned brand Stradivarius opened its 8,000 sq ft outlet in South John Street.

An international footwear brand, size? specialises in footwear products, introducing them to wider audiences through other JD retailers. Set out over two floors, the design concept will take inspiration from the city’s industrial trading heritage.

It will feature a number of digital installations, including transactional kiosks integrated to allow customers access to size?’s full online range of products.

Chris Cairns, concept and development retail manager at size?, saiid: “Liverpool ONE is a buzzing urban destination. We are so excited to soon be a part of it and to introduce our brand-new design concept that is entirely unique to Liverpool.”

Metis and CBRE acted for Liverpool ONE, while size? dealt directly. Alison Clegg, managing director, asset management at Grosvenor, added: “The fact that it is the third JD Group brand to commit to the destination is a big vote of confidence. It emphasises Liverpool ONE as a hub for internationally renowned fashion.”
