Liverpool accountancy firm Mitchell Charlesworth has promoted Louise Casey to partner.

Louise graduated with a degree in business and marketing, and then worked for an international bank prior to training for her ACA qualifications at a top 20 firm.

She joined Mitchell Charlesworth in 2012 and progressed to associate before being appointed head of audit for the practice in 2020. Based in the firm’s Liverpool office, Louise works with a variety of owner managed businesses and large corporate entities.

She plays a key role in the firm’s audit offering, and she leads the audit services for a number of complex groups, including supporting the financial reporting compliance for both IFRS and FRS clients.

Also heading up its social housing team, Louise has gained particular experience in the not-for-profit sector, including charities and academies. As head of audit, Louise supports the delivery of audit training, design and implementation of audit procedures and development and monitoring of quality control processes.
