South Liverpool family-friendly adventure centre, Otterspool Adventure, is investing a six-figure sum to create a new 12-hole themed mini-golf course and a ‘Mini Rangers’ off-road buggy experience.

Run by husband-and-wife duo, Steven and Cheryl Cosgrove, the attraction has continued to grow in popularity since its acquisition in 2017 and currently welcomes more than 6,000 visitors per day during busy periods such as weekends and school holidays.

Managing director Steven Cosgrove said: “Here at Otterspool Adventure, we’ve worked tirelessly to create a magical, enchanted forest whereby families from across the North West can come and spend the day with us in a play space like no other.

“We’re already known for our one-off offerings including Volvo Diggers, Bouncing Pillow and even a maze and are always on the look-out for ways in which we can innovate children’s play and bring something truly unique to the market.

“Fun for the whole family is always at the forefront of what we do, which is why we have decided to build a bespoke mini-golf course spanning 20,000 sq ft. The new addition will include water features, a hobbit house and bridges to name a few, so while it will remain an activity that’s fun for the youngsters, adults will also be challenged, too.”

Otterspool Adventure has also welcomed the introduction of its Mini Rangers concept, an off-road track driving experience suitable for children aged four and above.

Steven added: “We ultimately created the concept for Otterspool Adventure based on what our customers want to see, and we’re always finding out more about what they’re looking for when it comes to family day outs and this is how the idea for our Mini Rangers concept came about.”

Otterspool Adventure’s Mini Rangers offering is now open with its Mini-Golf course set to open at the end of the month.
