The children’s charity has launched its reworked website, heralding the future of a national campaign to redesign children’s social services in the UK.
Liverpool-based agency, Fire Pineapple donated their time to the redesign of www.seethechild.org, to streamline, refresh and optimise the site and improve user experiences on tablets, mobile devices and desktops. Further opportunities to share the charity’s powerful messages via social media and intuitive call-to-action buttons have also been added to the site.
Improvements to the design have made it easier to access a series of hard-hitting videos that aim to raise awareness around standards of care for vulnerable children in Britain.
Steve Ingley, managing director of Fire Pineapple, who recently became a father for the first time, was moved to help the charity after hearing of how growing demand for services is rapidly outweighing resources in this country:
“Kids Company is delivering vital frontline services to vulnerable children and young people across the country. We were more than happy to donate our time to this worthy cause. It was clear to us that the website needed to be transformed from an online brochure into an interactive engagement tool that would create awareness and unite people who are passionate about making real and lasting change in this area of work.”
