National law firm Slater and Gordon opens its third Merseyside office with a new family law base in Wirral led by a local family law veteran. Tony McDonough reports

Law firm Slater and Gordon is expanding its presence in Liverpool city region with a new base in Wirral.

Located in Pacific Road in Birkenhead, the new office will be Slater and Gordon’s third in Merseyside. It already operates an office just outside Liverpool city centre and another in Prescot.

Its six-strong Wirral team will specialise in family law and is led by principal lawyer Jenniffer Brunt. Already living and working in Wirral, Jenniffer joined Slater and Gordon in June 2022 after working for Jackson Lees for almost 25 years.

She was appointed head of the family department at Jackson Lees in 1997. An experienced family law and divorce specialist, Jenniffer has, according to Slater and Gordon, an “outstanding reputation”.

“Our new Wirral office will allow us to provide a personal family law service to our clients in the local community, by conducting confidential, face to face appointments at a convenient location,” said Jenniffer.

“Having advised and represented clients in respect of their family law issues on the Wirral, for almost 25 years, it’s great to be able to continue to do so via our new office.”

Slater and Gordon has already cemented its presence on the Wirral by becoming involved in multiple local initiatives.

These include working closely with Wirral Chamber of Commerce and local schools and colleges, to support the local community.
