Flexible workspace specialist opened its first Liverpool site at Mann Island in 2017 and is now launching its second facility in the city in the heart of the business district. Tony McDonough reports
Flexible workspace provider Avenue HQ is set to open the doors on its second Liverpool site next week following the success of its Mann Island operation.
The company’s second location in the city will be at No 4 St Paul’s Square and the 23,000 sq ft letting takes the prestige office building, in the heart of the central business district, another step closer to full occupancy.
Avenue HQ will occupy the whole of the second floor providing what it calls a “modern approach to the traditional office space” and, for the first week starting Tuesday, May 7, people will be able to take advantage of a free week’s trial of the facility.
It will aim to replicate the success of the Mann Island site which opened in 2017 and quickly established a reputation for offering a dynamic co-working space. St Paul’s Square will offer 22 offices, varying in size, and a number of coworking spaces.
St Paul’s Social on the ground floor will provide and new bar and eatery and a conference centre with space for 200 people. Avenue HQ chief executive Matthew Kennedy said: “We pride ourselves on being a community-driven business facilitating an informal but professional business environment, where like-minded individuals, no matter what sector or size your business is, can work together.
“The nature of work is changing and our culture is focused on providing our members with the best possible environment to ensure they get the most out of their working life.
“During our free trial week we want to offer anyone in Liverpool the opportunity to come and try out our way of working. Our new St Paul’s Square site offers a dynamic, modern workspace with facilities and services designed to increase productivity, wellbeing and drive innovation.
“The events on offer reflect this and provide a genuine experience of a typical working week at Avenue HQ.”
Over the week there will be a range of free events to attend, demonstrating the benefits that members of Avenue HQ experience. These will include a member breakfast, post-work yoga and live music and wine tasting in St Paul’s Social.
Anyone can register their interest for the free co-working by clicking here or turn up on the day and Team Avenue HQ will be on hand to help you get settled in and answer any questions.
No 4 St Paul’s Square is owned by Aberdeen Standard investments and, over the past year, the building has secured a number of blue-chip lettings thanks to the efforts of joint agents CBRE and Worthington Owen.
